Jake Siefert was the A-1 Chaplain from 1998 - 2001. He loved being an Aggie, but he felt especially priviledged and humbled to have been the A-1 Corp Chaplain. College years are instrumental in a young person's life. This scholarship will be used to support a student chaplain, financially and emotionally.

Jake's family takes this responsiblity very seriously and are actively organizing a support group of faith-filled mentors that the scholarship recipient will be able to ask for advice and who have agreed to provide mentorship as faith-filled leaders in their field. These mentors are drawn from all areas including business, law, medicine, science, and transportation. It is our prayer that the scholarship recipients will find a mentor or role model with whom they can feel comfortable with and who can play a role in their lives. Certainly Jake had a few of this that were instrumental to him.
